Description of Works

This series of oil on canvas paintings depicts various views of polar arctic sea ice. Utilizing light, colour, and a shifting horizon to evoke hour and mood, each work renders a distinct perspective on water, ice, and sky. Grays, blues, whites, and purples combine to reflect the dynamic nature of the elements in this magnificent and rugged terrain.
